Evil is the absence of empathy

I wrote Marxism in Gaia Search. I was looking for a group to argue against Marxist theory. Strangely, I was referred to Integral Post-metaphysical Spirituality. I started a debate. Unfortunately, it ended with my being crudely insulted. I'm a World War II veteran, a has-been, according to some. I fired back with an equally insulting response.  The moderator warned me. I decided to withdraw.

I had written a comment that I didn't post. Instead, I wrote "evil" in the Gaia search. I was referred to Living Metaphysics.  I support living metaphysics. For whatever it is worth, I'm posting my comment for Integral Post-metaphysical Spirituality, as follows:

I've been informed in no uncertain terms here. The order of the day is to relentlessly push for social justice, idealism, reform, globalism, feminist progress, growth of labor unions, immigration, legal and illegal. Good riddance to everything my generation fought for.  It's history.

What progressives must do now:

Spoken by an Obama supporter on November 11, 2008, "He (Obama) correctly perceived that the American people had finally had enough of the politics of fear and hate." Spoken by an Obama supporter on March 3, 2009, "Among the factors of the Republican defeat ...For eight years the United States of America suffered through a political crime wave in the guise of a federal administration." Spoken by an Obama supporter on January 6, 2009, "At last, the Democrats have fought their way back into power, thanks to the combination of a collapse of the national economy, a dawning public awareness of the lies and incompetence of the Bush Administration, an incredibly inept campaign by GOP candidates, John McCain and Sarah Palin, and by contrast a brilliantly executed campaign by Barrack Obama. But despite the setback the regressives most assuredly will not go away."

Progressives must continue to fight the "old guard" with everything you have, insults, intimidation, and whatever else it takes, to assure the world that regressives will never again return to power.

Evil is the absence of empathy. A study of Nazi defenders at the Nuremburg trials found this to be their problem. They didn't get it. The law, back then, did not allow what they did.

With regard to the current  metamorphosis of the Constitution, Robert Jackson, the chief prosecutor at the Nuremburg trials, speaking for the U. S. Supreme Court in 1943 in State Board of Education v Barnette, asserted: "The very purpose of the Bill of Rights was to withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One's right to life, liberty, and property ... and other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no elections."

Well, I had my say, and that's that. You plainly have your task. Progressives, you know what you must do: rewrite my Constitution.  It has no place whatever in today's world.
